I'm Petra, a 26-year old poet shaped by the winding streets of Brașov, Romania, and the beauty hidden in the mundane. Ever since I moved to England in 2017, a thick coat of nostalgia has been keeping my heart warm.

My debut poetry collection, Ode to My Youth, is a love letter to the quiet beauty of the everyday. Through words and images woven into visual poems, I aspire to capture fleeting moments. Those unassuming, tender fragments of life that stay with us long after they pass. You'll often find me with a film camera around my neck and a brown leather notebook in my hand. A heart caught between two places, I write to slow time, to hold onto the ephemeral, and to invite others to do the same.
